According to the report by WABetaInfo, testing of status editing tools based on Meta AI is underway in the WhatsApp beta version. Previously, no changes could be made after uploading a photo in the status, but now it will be possible to give photos a completely new look with the help of AI. The main purpose of this feature is to keep users more active on WhatsApp, allowing them to fulfill all their needs within the app itself.
The themes available through Meta AI include 3D, comic book, anime, painting, clay, kawaii, classical, and video game styles. These AI filters not only apply effects but regenerate the entire image according to the chosen style, making the status extremely attractive and unique. If the look created the first time is not liked, a new version can be created in the same style by pressing the 'redo' button.
Currently, this feature is only available to select beta testers, while a few users may also get a glimpse of it in the stable version. It is expected to reach general users soon. This feature will make WhatsApp statuses more creative and suitable for sharing, making the social media experience more fun.
