Due to the ambitious schemes of the central and state governments for farmers, financial support is being provided, and in the month of February, installments of PM Kisan and Namo Farmer schemes are likely to be deposited in the accounts of millions of farmers. In the central government's PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, farmers are given 6,000 rupees in three installments throughout the year, which are deposited directly into the beneficiary's account every four months.
The last installment was deposited in November 2025, and the next installment of 2,000 rupees is expected in February. The state government has also started the Namo Farmer Scheme, which provides an annual provision of 6,000 rupees, resulting in a total benefit of 12,000 rupees for farmers throughout the year. This month, it is likely that two installments of the Namo Farmer Scheme, including the previous pending installment, will be deposited, amounting to 4,000 rupees, and along with 2,000 rupees from PM Kisan, a total of 6,000 rupees may be credited to the beneficiary farmers' accounts.
However, the exact distribution period has not yet been announced. These two schemes will provide funds for agricultural work to the farmers in the state and will bring financial stability. E-KYC process is mandatory to avail the benefits of PM Kisan scheme, and if KYC is not completed, the installment is not deposited. Therefore, all beneficiary farmers should immediately go to pmkisan.gov.in and complete Aadhaar linking and KYC, otherwise there is a risk of funds being blocked.
The state government has also appealed to keep the beneficiary list of the Namo Farmer Scheme updated, and eligible farmers should contact the local tehsildar or agriculture department. These schemes will increase the income of farmers and strengthen the rural economy.
