The Pundliknagar police acted swiftly and arrested all seven accused within a few hours.

According to the information, around dawn, there was a loud noise of a large stone hitting the door of a citizen's house. When the people who were provoking to come out by shouting abuses were seen through the window, one person had a country-made gun and others had swords and knives. As the door was not opened, the group tried to break it by throwing stones. Out of fear, when they went to the terrace, the person fired a shot in their direction, but they were unharmed.

Upon hearing the sound of gunfire, local residents gathered, and the gang threatened to kill anyone who intervened. Seeing the crowd growing, the accused fled the scene. The police investigation revealed that this attack stemmed from a previous dispute over mobile theft. Three special teams were dispatched to search for the accused.
