A case has come to light where a female doctor at the sub-district hospital in Phaltan, Satara, has committed suicide. On Thursday, October 23, the victim female doctor wrote a suicide note on her hand, clarifying the reason for her suicide. Since then, several new issues have emerged in the investigation that started yesterday.

Against this backdrop, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis took a review of this case from the Satara District Superintendent of Police yesterday and has ordered the immediate suspension of the concerned officer. "This incident has tarnished the reputation of Phaltan, as everyone knows. If the CDR is extracted, this case will be solved. I have faith in the Chief Minister regarding the investigation. I express strong protest against this incident. It would have been good if I could have met the victim's family. I do not want to accuse anyone. Previously, government officials in Phaltan taluka used to specifically request transfers to this area. Meanwhile, this incident has tarnished Phaltan's reputation, and it would have been good if I could have met the victim's family," said Ramraje Naik Nimbalkar.

On Thursday, October 23, a shocking incident came to light from Satara. It was revealed that a female doctor at Phaltan Sub-District Hospital committed suicide. The name of the female doctor is Dr. Sampada Munde, and she had been entangled in a dispute with the police and health department for a few months. After a dispute with the police regarding a medical examination, an inquiry was initiated against her. She had also complained to her superiors saying, “I am being wronged, I will commit suicide.” Finally, on Thursday night, Dr. Sampada Munde took the extreme step.

In that note, the doctor wrote, "PSI Gopal Badane repeatedly abused and sexually exploited her for five months, and police officer Prashant Bankar mentally harassed her."
