According to Isha, during the audition, she was asked to perform a crying scene in a restaurant. Isha said, "When I started auditioning for roles with Shanoo, I was asked to perform a scene at a restaurant called 'Mia Cucina' in Versova, Mumbai. It was a crying scene in the middle of the restaurant where customers were dining near my table."
"I was told that as an actor I should have no hesitation, so I should sit and cry in front of Sanu and some of his assistants. It was a confusing request. As a young woman working in films, my confidence was truly shattered by this. It would have been better if a good casting office space was provided for the audition. Or if you really want to do the scene at a real location, rent the place, pay for it, and give the audition."
"Anyway, a decade later, I am sharing this to tell all new artists that they should not feel any pressure. I remember thinking I can't do this work and of course, I never got that role. But I did not fall prey to this strange demand and did not cry in a restaurant for the role," said Isha Talwar.
