The announcement of a new host for the second season of the popular Marathi comedy show Chala Hawa Yeu Dya has triggered a stir in the entertainment industry. Actor Abhijeet Khandkekar will take over as the show’s anchor, replacing Nilesh Sable, who was at the helm since the show’s inception. Amid this backdrop, renowned astrologer and public personality Sharad Upadhye’s strongly worded social media post about Sable has now become a subject of intense discussion.

In his post, Upadhye addressed Nilesh Sable directly, expressing both disappointment and criticism. “Respected Nileshji Sable, I read in the paper today that you’ve been replaced by Abhijeet Khandkekar in the new season of Hawa Yeu Dya. I felt sad, but not surprised,” he wrote.

Recalling an unpleasant experience on the show, Upadhye stated that he was called by Sable for a shoot and asked to report at 11 a.m., but was left waiting in a room until 3 p.m. “No one came. I even asked for water, but it never arrived,” he added. According to Upadhye, Sable visited other guests but ignored him, proceeding directly to the stage at 4 p.m. without any acknowledgment.

He further alleged that his segment was hurriedly recorded at 6 p.m. in just 15 minutes, during which other artists interrupted his responses. “My entire day was wasted, and even in the editing, my answers were filtered,” he wrote, adding that Sable later offered advice in a patronizing tone.

In a scathing remark, Upadhye wrote, “As the head of the show, the wind had gone out of your head. You lost your balance. Arrogance leads to downfall. When someone gets a position, they become stiff. You neither won hearts nor delivered a captivating presentation. That is likely why the channel removed you.”

Despite his criticism, Upadhye concluded the post on a conciliatory note. He praised incoming host Abhijeet Khandkekar, calling him capable and pleasant, and encouraged Sable to support him. “You are experienced—guide him. Clear the misconceptions about you in the industry through good work. I pray that God stands with you,” he said.

Along with this, he further said, 'Abhijit Khandkekar will also handle the job well. I have enjoyed his company. You are experienced. Guide him. Clear the misconceptions about you in the industry with your good work. I request you to get God's support.' Sharad Upadhyay said.
