Veteran actor Satish Shah passed away in Mumbai on Saturday. His manager has provided information about what exactly happened half an hour before his death. Satish Shah had been suffering from kidney problems for a few months. On October 25, 2025, at the age of 74, Satish Shah passed away. He was undergoing treatment at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai, but his life came to an end. Today (Sunday), his last rites were performed in Mumbai. Many artists from the entertainment industry were present to bid a final farewell to his mortal remains.
Satish Shah's manager Ramesh Kadatla told ANI, "This all happened during lunch yesterday afternoon. He sat down to eat at a quarter to two. As soon as he took a bite, he became unconscious. The ambulance arrived half an hour later, but he was declared dead upon reaching the hospital."
Satish Shah was admitted in Kolkata a few days ago for a kidney transplant surgery. The doctors had advised him to take complete rest, but he later returned home. His friend and actor Rakesh Bedi said that Satish also had heart-related issues, and his body could not withstand the kidney transplant.
Prominent artists like Pankaj Kapoor, Ratna Pathak, Supriya Pathak, Naseeruddin Shah, Dilip Joshi, Rupali Ganguly, Rajesh Kumar, Anang Desai, and Farah Khan were present to bid a final farewell to Satish Shah. At this time, everyone's eyes were filled with tears.
