In a significant escalation of the ongoing conflict between India and Pakistan, the Indian Navy launched a major retaliatory strike on Karachi port using drone attacks from its flagship aircraft carrier, INS Vikrant. The offensive has reportedly caused extensive damage to strategic facilities in the region.

According to official sources, the attack marks the first time Pakistan has been targeted from the sea in the current conflict. Several drone strikes launched from INS Vikrant hit key infrastructure at Karachi port, triggering multiple explosions and widespread panic.

In response to earlier provocations, India has launched coordinated retaliatory operations across several Pakistani cities, including Lahore, Sialkot, Karachi, Bahawalpur, Peshawar, and Islamabad. Indian forces also targeted Kotli in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) using a combination of drone and artillery strikes.

INS Vikrant Leads Naval Offensive

INS Vikrant, India’s first indigenously-built aircraft carrier, played a central role in the naval offensive. Weighing 45,000 tons and measuring 262 meters in length, INS Vikrant is equipped with a formidable air fleet of over 30 fighter jets, helicopters, and precision-guided munitions. It is designed to carry out offensive operations deep into enemy territory and has now demonstrated its capability in real-time conflict.

Defense analysts note that this is a significant demonstration of India's military reach and technological capability. The operation marks a bold shift in India’s strategic posture, signaling that further provocations will be met with decisive military action.

As tensions continue to escalate, both nations remain on high alert, and the global community is urging restraint to prevent further escalation in the region.
