Kashmir Closes 48 Tourist Spots After Pahalgam Attack for Visitor Safety

But now the Jammu and Kashmir government has taken a big decision.

After the Pahalgam terrorist attack, a wave of anger has spread across India. More than 26 civilians have died in this attack. The next day after the terrorist attack, the Indian government took very important decisions. Similarly, many tourists also canceled their trips to Kashmir. But now the Jammu and Kashmir government has taken a big decision.

A big and important decision has been taken in Kashmir for the safety of tourists. 48 out of 87 tourist spots in sensitive areas of the Kashmir Valley have been closed. Similarly, the government has decided to close trekking trails.

According to the information received, famous tourist destinations like Gurez Valley, Dudhpathari, Verinag, Bangas Valley and Yusmarg are included. This step has been taken to ensure the safety of tourists. These tourist destinations are temporarily closed and will be reviewed as per the security situation.

Similarly, security forces have deployed security at sensitive tourist spots including Gulmarg, Sonamarg and Dal Lake areas. Anti-Fidayeen squads from the Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police have been deployed in these.
