Official White House sources have claimed that US National Security Advisor and Secretary of State Marco Rubio has warned Pakistan.

Following India’s bold air strikes under ‘Operation Sindoor’, launched in retaliation for the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam, strong diplomatic reverberations have begun to surface. In a stern message, the United States has issued a clear warning to Pakistan, urging it not to escalate tensions or consider retaliatory action against India.

Air Strikes and Aftermath

India’s Operation Sindoor targeted multiple terror camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, delivering a decisive military response days after the Pahalgam attack that claimed 26 innocent lives. The cross-border offensive was carefully executed and has drawn international attention, particularly from the United States.

U.S. Issues Strong Statement

In a significant development, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio took a firm stance against any potential Pakistani retaliation. According to official sources in the White House, Rubio stated:

“Pakistan should not even think about responding to the air strike.”

He further affirmed India’s right to self-defense, declaring:

“India has the right to take action against terrorists. Now Pakistan should not carry out any attack in response to this Indian operation.”

This statement is being viewed as a clear diplomatic endorsement of India’s position, and a sharp rebuke to Pakistan’s history of harboring terror groups operating across the Line of Control.

Rubio's Social Media Response

Secretary Rubio also took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to express his views and reiterate the U.S. government’s call for restraint:

“I am closely monitoring the situation in India and Pakistan. Comments made earlier today express hope that this will end soon and efforts will continue to engage the Indian and Pakistani leadership for a peaceful resolution.”

While calling for peace, the tone of Rubio’s statements made it clear that the U.S. holds Pakistan responsible for the tensions and stands by India’s right to defend its citizens and sovereignty.
