India will not bow to anyone - Putin
US tariffs ineffective - Putin
Putin criticizes Trump
(Vladimir Putin) Amid the ongoing international tension over the Russia-Ukraine war, Russian President Vladimir Putin directly warned US President Donald Trump on Thursday. “India will not bow to anyone, US tariffs are going to be ineffective,” Putin firmly stated.
Observers say that the Trump administration made several attempts to stop the conflict in Ukraine, but they were unsuccessful. Trump himself admitted that he tried to reason with Putin, but it did not have the expected result. On the contrary, he indicated that he might help Ukraine, warning that this assistance could intensify the war further.
Meanwhile, there is talk that the US has decided to impose tariffs of up to 50% on India and China. It is said that this is because India and China are buying oil from Russia. However, Putin dismissed this issue. He clarified that India and China are proud nations and their decisions are made in the interest of their citizens.
They also criticized NATO. They accused NATO of staging dramas to create fear against Russia. However, Russia is not considering attacking any country, but if someone provokes directly, the response will be harsh, warned Putin. This statement has further increased the tension between the US and Russia, and the relations between Europe-NATO and Russia have become even more complicated.
