In the wake of the tragic Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad, a team from Boeing is set to arrive in India to assist in the investigation. The crash involved a Boeing 171 aircraft and occurred shortly after takeoff in the Meghani Nagar area of the city.
According to reports, the aircraft took off from Ahmedabad airport but crashed within 10 minutes of departure. The accident resulted in the deaths of 241 passengers onboard, with only one passenger miraculously surviving. Families and loved ones of the victims are grieving the immense loss.
In response to the incident, Tata Sons the parent company of Air India has confirmed that Boeing will send a team of experts to India to collaborate with Indian authorities in investigating the cause of the crash. Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrasekaran has reportedly spoken with Boeing's senior leadership to ensure a thorough probe into the tragedy.
Additionally, GE Aerospace, which supplies engines for the aircraft, is also expected to send a technical team to support the investigation.
The crash has raised serious questions about aircraft safety and operational procedures, and authorities are expected to carry out a detailed inquiry to prevent such incidents in the future.
