The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of extreme rainfall in several states for the next 72 hours. Due to the cyclone, Kerala has witnessed heavy rainfall. Now this effect is also likely to occur in Tamil Nadu. A warning of heavy rain has been issued in Tamil Nadu as well. It has been stated that cold winds coming from the north will keep the state shivering.
Cloudy weather will prevail in the state today, and the cold will intensify further in Marathwada and Vidarbha. It is reported that temperatures have dropped in Ahilyanagar, Jeur, and Bhandara. In some cities, the temperature has fallen below 10 degrees, and the cold wave may increase further. Experts are advising citizens of the state to take proper precautions considering the sudden changes in weather.
