The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has once again issued a warning of unseasonal rain for various parts of the country, with a significant change in weather expected in the next 48 hours. In many states of North India, rain is expected along with snowfall, fog, and strong winds. In this context, the meteorological department has warned citizens to remain alert. According to the meteorological department, two western disturbances are currently active.

Due to the impact of these weather systems, there is a possibility of heavy rain along with significant snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir. The weather in this region is expected to remain poor for the next two days, and it has been predicted that the intensity of rain will increase again between February 9 and 11. During this period, strong winds are also likely, which may disrupt daily life.

Along with this, heavy rain is also forecasted on February 6 and 7 in the states of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh. There is a possibility of a triple impact of rain, snowfall, and strong winds in some areas. A dense fog warning has been issued for Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, which may affect road traffic as well as rail and air services.

In Himachal Pradesh, the impact of fog is expected to be more noticeable on February 7, with visibility likely to decrease. Meanwhile, the weather department has predicted that winds will blow at a speed of 20 to 30 kilometers per hour in northwest India over the next two to three days. As a result, the cold is expected to intensify in some areas, and citizens are urged to take precautions.

Speaking of Maharashtra, no rain warning has been issued in the state currently. However, fluctuations in temperature are expected. The intensity of cold is likely to increase in some parts of the state, and the cold may be more pronounced in rural and hilly areas. On the other hand, in Mumbai and coastal areas, the temperature is expected to rise, which may lead to a feeling of heat and sunburn.
