Recently, the Waqf Amendment Bill was passed in the Lok Sabha and now reactions are coming from various levels. Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray Shiv Sena Party chief Uddhav Thackeray has targeted the ruling party by holding a press conference today. Kiren Rijiju has introduced the bill in the Lok Sabha and Uddhav Thackeray has severely criticized him. He said, "Kiren Rijiju had supported eating beef. He is introducing the Waqf Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha. This is a coincidence. The ruling party is trying to make people fight and burn political coals. There are some good points in the amendment bill. But what about Muslims in it? The Waqf Board is saying that you will take over the lands, which means you have your eye on the lands. Amit Shah and his allies have made speeches on this bill that would put even Mohammad Jinnah to shame, supporting Muslims," Thackeray lashed out.

"America had told India to reduce taxes, otherwise we will also impose taxes. The Waqf Bill was introduced to ignore the fact that this has started," Uddhav Thackeray alleged. Thackeray further said, "I don't know what is going on with the BJP. Sometimes they say dig Aurangzeb's grave, their people take spades and shovels, then orders come from above that stop, don't dig. Then they throw dirt back. They say they will enter the mosque and kill, when they go to kill, they say stop, take 'Saugat e Modi'. They are trying to make people fight among themselves and use it to fuel their political agenda. The experience so far is that the BJP has different teeth for showing and teeth for eating."
