The position of Baramati Municipal Council President is reserved for the general category. The discussions are gaining momentum as Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, MP Sunetra Pawar, and Parth Pawar are registered to vote in Katewadi, while Jay Pawar is registered to vote in Baramati. It is also known that Jay Pawar has been active in campaigning during the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.
