The administration has now accelerated the preparations for the Simhastha Kumbh Mela, and on Thursday (November 13), Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will lay the foundation stone for development works worth a whopping five and a half thousand crores in Nashik. This historic event will be graced by the presence of prominent leaders from the state cabinet, with two Deputy Chief Ministers, Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, as well as half a dozen ministers participating in this tour.

After this, the Chief Minister will inaugurate the new administrative building of the District Council on Trimbak Road. Officials say this modern building will help make the District Council's administration more efficient. The main attraction of the Chief Minister's visit will be the grand ceremony at Thakkar Dome, where the foundation stone for various development works related to the Simhastha Kumbh Mela will be laid. This project includes the redevelopment of roads, bridges, ghats, smart lighting, water and sewage systems, as well as the beautification of Nashik from a religious tourism perspective.

The state government intends to celebrate the Kumbh Mela not only as a religious event but also as a festival of economic and cultural revival. With this in mind, Chief Minister Fadnavis has allocated a large fund for Nashik. These efforts will accelerate the development of Nashik, providing devotees with modern and clean facilities.

During the tour, the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister will also interact with various city representatives, saints, and senior officials in the administration. Due to security concerns, the police administration has deployed a large number of personnel, and changes have been made to the traffic arrangements in the Panchavati and Thakkar Dome areas. The presence of both Deputy Chief Ministers, Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, is giving special importance to this tour. It is expected that under the combined leadership of Shiv Sena-BJP-NCP, the works of the Simhastha Kumbh Mela will gain momentum. For the people of Nashik, this tour will mark not only a political event but also the beginning of a new era of development.
