It is currently observed that the weather across the state and the country is continuously changing. On one hand, there is rain, on the other hand, cold, and in some places, heat, experiencing all three seasons at the same time. This climate change is directly affecting the health of citizens, with an increase in colds, fevers, coughs, and respiratory-related illnesses. This situation is particularly dangerous for young children, senior citizens, and patients with pre-existing respiratory disorders.

Against this backdrop, air pollution has become a serious issue in many major cities across the country. In metropolises like Mumbai and Delhi, although various measures are being implemented by the administration, the level of air pollution has not yet come under control. As a result, citizens have to wear masks when stepping outside. Complaints of eye irritation, sore throat, and breathing difficulties are increasing due to polluted air.

On the other hand, severe cold is being felt in the northern parts of the country, with a significant drop in temperature. Life has been disrupted in many places due to the mercury falling. According to the Indian Meteorological Department's forecast, weather fluctuations are expected to continue across the country in the coming days, with a possibility of a cold wave in some areas. An increase in cold is also predicted in the state over the next two to three days.

In the month of December, severe cold was felt in the state. However, at the beginning of January, the cold was relatively less. Now, there are indications that the cold has returned, and weather experts are urging citizens to take precautions. It cannot be ruled out that a sudden increase in cold may lead to a rise in cold and cough illnesses.

A significant drop in minimum temperature has been recorded in Pune city for the past two days. The Indian Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility that the cold will persist in the city as there is not expected to be much change in the minimum and maximum temperatures over the next two days. A few days ago, there was an increase in the minimum temperature in Pune, but now the cold has increased again due to the cold wave coming from the north.

In some parts of the state, the lowest temperatures have been recorded. The minimum temperature recorded in Niphad is 7.9 degrees Celsius, while in Gondia it is 9.8 degrees and in Dhule, it is 10 degrees Celsius. As the intensity of the cold continues to fluctuate in the state, experts have advised citizens to take special care of their health.
