The Hindi film 'Abir Gulal' starring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan is set to release in India on May 9, but now the film has been banned. The Pakistani actor's film is facing opposition after the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam. There are speculations that its release date may be postponed as exhibitors are worried about its future due to the terrorist attack.
Earlier too, MNS had said that it would submit a representation to the state government to prevent the release of the film 'Abir Gulal'. At this time, Amey Khopkar had warned that we will first demand that the film not be released through a representation, and if we do not listen, we will respond in our own style.
The film is directed by Aarti A. Bagdi and produced by Indian Stories and A Richer Lens Entertainment. The producers include Vivek B. Agarwal, Avantika Hari and Rakesh Sippy. Fawad Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Riddhi Dogra, Lisa Haydon, Farida Jalal, Soni Razdan, Parmeet Sethi and Rahul Vohra are in the lead roles. The film has a supporting cast from India and the UK.
