In recent months, the United States has made several changes to visa policies. While restrictions have been imposed on citizens of some countries, a positive decision has been made for Indian citizens. A new “Indian Consular Service Center” has been launched with the cooperation of the Indian Consulate in Los Angeles. This will directly benefit a large number of Indians.
This new center has been operational since December 15, 2025. The center is being operated through VFS Global. This center will be extremely useful for the Indian community living in Southern California and surrounding areas. It has been established in the central part of Los Angeles, at 800 South Figueroa Street, Suite 1210.
This office will remain open from Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5:30 PM. For the convenience of citizens, some services will also be made available on Saturdays. In this new center, almost all consular services required for Indian citizens will be available in one place. Therefore, there will be no need to make rounds to different places. Passport-related work, visa services, OCI applications, and other necessary consular facilities will be provided here. This will make the process easier and faster for Indians living in America.
