Devendra Fadnavis : Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis made a major announcement for the farmers in the state today. By 2026, every farm will be provided with 12 hours of free solar power daily. This will improve the living standards of farmers. The government is implementing a special "mission" to "convert dryland farming into irrigated farming." The government has set a world record by installing solar agricultural pumps within a month. Fadnavis stated that once these plans are successful, every farmer in the state will receive free solar power.

The use of technology and mechanization in agriculture is increasing. This allows farmers to make their farming more profitable. This technology will be useful in avoiding problems caused by climate change, said Chief Minister Fadnavis.

Further, under the river linking project, a new 500-kilometer river flow will be created. This will help provide water to the saline regions of western Maharashtra and drought-affected areas, and irrigation facilities will be made available to farmers, said Fadnavis.

Meanwhile, the Shri Shivaji Education Society in Amravati organized a ceremony on the occasion of Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh's 127th birth anniversary. In this ceremony, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was awarded the "Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Memorial Award" by senior computer scientist Dr. Vijay Bhatkar.
