The election frenzy for the Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti in the state has reached its peak, with all parties vigorously campaigning. Against this backdrop, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde addressed a Mahayuti campaign rally in Sindhudurg district today. During this time, he made an emotional and development-oriented appeal to the voters, firmly stating, “This election is not just limited to voting, but it is a decision about the future of Sindhudurg and your children.”
Shinde further clarified that every vote given to the Mahayuti is a direct vote for development. Therefore, he urged citizens to vote in large numbers without falling prey to any rumors. A large crowd had gathered for this rally. Shinde expressed confidence that there is a positive atmosphere regarding the Mahayuti in Konkan.
After the rally, while interacting with journalists, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde provided important information about the ‘Ladki Bahin’ scheme. Journalists had raised the question of when the current installment of 1500 rupees for beloved sisters would be increased to 2100 rupees. Responding to this, Shinde said, “Whatever we have announced in our manifesto, we will implement it at the right time and completely. Our manifesto will be followed 100 percent. The Ladki Bahin scheme will never be stopped.” Despite the opposition spreading rumors, he clarified that the government is firm on its word. This has strengthened the possibility of beloved sisters receiving an installment of 2100 rupees in the near future.
Speaking about the political situation in Konkan, Shinde said, “The saffron storm of Mahayuti is blowing everywhere in Konkan.” With the unity of Guardian Minister Nitesh Rane, MLA Nilesh Rane, and Deepak Kesarkar, the Mahayuti has become stronger. The workers have decided that under the guidance of Rane Saheb, the Sindhudurg Zilla Parishad will work. Therefore, Shinde expressed confidence that this Zilla Parishad will win 100 percent for the Mahayuti. He also firmly stated that there will be no shortage of funds for development.
Speaking about the development of Konkan, Shinde said that due to the Davos tour of the Chief Minister and the Industry Minister, special project agreements have been made for Konkan. This will bring a large number of industries to Konkan, providing employment opportunities for local youth. The DPR for the new Mumbai–Goa highway has been prepared, and once this project is completed, it will give a major boost to tourism in Konkan, he also expressed confidence.
