In the Bihar Legislative Assembly election results, the BJP-led NDA has achieved a significant victory, with the BJP emerging as the dominant party. In this year's assembly elections, the NDA alliance consisted of five parties: BJP, JDU, LJP, HAM, and RLM. Compared to the 2020 assembly elections, all parties in the NDA have shown better success this year. Out of the 243 seats in the state, the BJP and JDU fielded candidates in 102 seats each. Meanwhile, Chirag Paswan's Lok Janshakti Party gave tickets to 29 candidates. Additionally, the Hindustani Awam Morcha fielded 6 candidates and the RLM fielded 4 candidates. It appears that the NDA alliance is winning more than 200 seats. Among them, the BJP is leading in 91 seats, while Nitish Kumar's JDU is leading in 79 seats.
Total 66.91% voting in Bihar - (Bihar Total Voting) 65.08% voting took place in the first phase in 121 constituencies across 18 districts in Bihar. 68.76% voting occurred in the second phase across 122 seats in 20 districts. According to the Election Commission's statistics, a total of 66.91% voting has taken place in Bihar.
There was a direct contest between the NDA and the Grand Alliance in the Bihar Assembly elections. In this election, the NDA alliance appears to be achieving significant success. As a result, the BJP and Nitish Kumar's RJD party have started celebrating their victory. Meanwhile, the Congress and Tejashwi Yadav's RJD are showing signs of defeat. In the Grand Alliance, Tejashwi Yadav's RJD contested 143 seats, while Congress contested 60, CPI-ML 20, VIP 11, CPI 6, and CPM fielded candidates in 4 seats. However, the Grand Alliance did not achieve the expected success. On the contrary, the BJP NDA alliance has achieved a major victory.
