A bird hit the front glass of train number 74626 traveling from Baramulla to Banihal with such speed that the glass broke and it directly entered the loco pilot's cabin, causing injury to the loco pilot. The impact was so strong that the glass shattered, causing minor injuries to the loco pilot's face and hand.
At this time, the train was stopped to provide immediate medical assistance to the loco pilot due to the broken glass. The loco pilot was given first aid at Anantnag railway station.
