Kisan Loan: Good news for farmers. Now, there will be no need to make repeated visits to the bank for crop loans. Due to the JanSamarth portal launched by the government, farmers will be able to get loans online from home. This decision will provide significant support to farmers facing financial difficulties.
In this new method, farmers must first register on the 'Janasamarthak Portal'. Once registration is complete, the application for crop loans can be filled online. After filling the application, it will be sent directly to the concerned bank. This will speed up the loan approval process.
Until now, farmers had to go to banks for crop loans. Often, errors were found in the documents, and they had to go back to the bank repeatedly to correct them. This caused farmers to endure time and mental stress. To eliminate this problem, the government has started this online initiative.
Applications from farmers are being filled online through e-service centers and Setu Facilitation Centers. Eligible farmers will have their loans approved within just one hour, as informed by District Collector Kumar Ashirwad. This initiative is being implemented on an experimental basis in Solapur district as per government guidelines. Under this scheme, necessary information such as the farmer's ID, Aadhaar number, bank account, and mobile number will be collected. The application will be sent to the bank only after the verification of documents is complete, reducing the likelihood of loan rejection by banks. This will make the crop loan acquisition process simpler and more transparent.
