In an incident that shook Maharashtra's politics, senior leader Ajit Pawar passed away unexpectedly in an accident. His sudden departure has spread mourning across the entire state, with intense grief being expressed from political and social sectors. Leaders from various political parties have paid tribute to Ajit Pawar and honored his work.

Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) party chief Uddhav Thackeray expressed deep sorrow over Ajit Pawar's demise. “We lost a strong leader and a capable colleague from my cabinet,” he expressed in these words. Under the leadership of Uddhav Thackeray, Ajit Pawar played a very important role as Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister in the Maha Vikas Aghadi government.

Uddhav Thackeray said that Ajit Pawar was a very disciplined, studious leader who maintained control over his department. He was particularly known as a leader with in-depth knowledge of the finance department. His strengths were his grip on administration, decisiveness, and clarity in work. As a colleague, we had a special relationship, Uddhav Thackeray recalled their cooperation.

Although different paths were taken in politics, Ajit Pawar never severed personal relationships, said Uddhav Thackeray. He was open-hearted. He would speak his mind clearly, but he was a leader who did not hold grudges. His straightforwardness often kept him in discussions, but his focus was always on work.

Ajit Pawar was popularly known as 'Dada' throughout Maharashtra. He was recognized as a leader who cared for the workers and communicated directly with them. He always stood up for the workers' issues, transcending party lines. His departure has created a significant void in the state's politics and leadership, expressed Uddhav Thackeray.

“In every sense, he was 'Dada',” said Uddhav Thackeray, paying tribute to Ajit Pawar. He expressed that the Thackeray and Shiv Sena family share in the grief of the Pawar family. The demise of Ajit Pawar is felt as a loss of a candid, dutiful, and influential leader in Maharashtra's politics, expressed from all quarters.
