The Mumbai municipal election is approaching, and all parties are engaged in vigorous campaigning. To gain power over Mumbai, BJP and Mahayuti have announced their manifesto. This manifesto was presented in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

Special schemes for women and several facilities for daily commuters in Mumbai have been announced in this manifesto. It has been announced to increase the number of coaches for local passengers, not to increase ticket prices despite having AC locals, to start water transport in the city, and to build jetties.

It has been claimed that time will be saved for commuters as travel can now be done on a single ticket through water taxis, just like metro, railway, and bus. Emphasis will be placed on strong cement roads to permanently solve the issue of potholes on roads.

Some decisions have been announced keeping in mind the issue of the Marathi people. Emphasis will be placed on accelerating redevelopment, stopping the increase in water charges, and reducing pollution. The grand alliance has promised to implement these not just as announcements but in practice.
