Currently, significant changes are being observed in the state's weather. Sometimes cold, sometimes heat, and sometimes cloudy weather with unseasonal rain showers are being experienced by the citizens. In December, the state felt good cold, but since the beginning of January, the weather started changing. The Indian Meteorological Department had already predicted that the cold would vary in February, and it is now being seen in reality.

Currently, there is a slight chill in the mornings in the state, while the temperature rises around noon, causing a feeling of heat. Some areas have cloudy weather with occasional unseasonal rain showers. The unseasonal rain on January 1st caused a significant change in the weather, and the cloudy conditions have persisted for a few days. Additionally, the level of air pollution in some cities in the state has also increased to a concerning level.

Today's Temperature Situation in the State

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, fluctuations in temperature are expected in the state today. The lowest temperature in the state has been recorded at Niphad in Maharashtra, which is 10.8 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the highest temperature has been recorded at Bhira in Konkan, which is 37 degrees Celsius. Thus, a strange combination of cold and heat is being observed in the state. At the national level, the lowest temperature in the country has been recorded at Sikar in Rajasthan, which is 4.5 degrees Celsius. The impact of cold and fog continues in North India, disrupting daily life in some areas.

Warning of Rain and Snowfall

According to the information provided by the Indian Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain and snowfall in the western Himalayan regions of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand from February 6 to 9 and on February 11. It is predicted that the weather will remain adverse in these areas for the next few days.

Citizens Should Take Care

The Meteorological Department has appealed to farmers, citizens, and travelers in the state to take appropriate precautions considering the changes in the weather. There is a possibility of damage to crops due to unseasonal rain, and it may also affect health. Therefore, it is necessary to take the required precautions to protect against heat, cold, and pollution.
