The election campaign for 246 municipalities and 42 municipal councils in the state is in its final stage. The results will be announced on December 3, and the BJP has prepared its team of workers for large-scale campaigning. In an internal survey conducted by the BJP, it has been claimed that 175 BJP mayors will be elected across the state. The survey also stated that the victory of the Mahayuti alliance and the BJP is certain, which has generated enthusiasm among BJP workers.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, and Ravindra Chavan have actively campaigned. BJP's state president and ministers are campaigning in various districts. In the state's 246 municipalities and 42 municipal councils, the BJP has fielded candidates in 242 places. Therefore, the BJP is leading in this election, according to the survey.
Chandrakant Patil has expressed confidence that the BJP will win 200 mayoral posts. He said that the municipal council elections across the state are receiving a great response. He believes that in this election, the BJP will achieve success similar to that in the Bihar and Maharashtra Assembly elections.
