NCP MLA Rohit Pawar has launched a sharp attack on the BJP-led state government, alleging a deep-rooted conspiracy behind the recruitment of migrant teachers in Maharashtra.
Addressing the media, Rohit Pawar stated, “By recruiting 20,000 migrant teachers, the BJP is planning to set up another sleeper cell in Maharashtra. These teachers will be sent to villages, where they will spread hatred against the Marathi language. This is a deliberate attempt to gain control over Maharashtra from Delhi.”
Pawar further added, “We will not tolerate anyone comparing terrorists with Marathi people. We strongly condemn Ashish Shelar's recent statement. Any act that targets Maharashtra’s identity will be met with a fitting response from the people. With municipal elections around the corner, efforts are being made to portray Marathi people as outsiders in their own state. This is nothing but a calculated political conspiracy.”
He also appealed to party workers and the public to remain alert and take informed political decisions. “I urge everyone to recognize the truth and not fall for propaganda or be influenced by any leader or party,” Pawar said.
His remarks are expected to intensify the political discourse in Maharashtra, especially with local body elections approaching.
