On the auspicious occasion of Maghi Shuddha Jaya Ekadashi, the daily worship of Shri Vitthal-Rukmini Mata was completed with devotion and traditional methods on behalf of the temple committee. From early morning, a devotional atmosphere was created in the temple premises. Considering the special significance of Jaya Ekadashi, there was great enthusiasm among the devotees.
The daily worship of Lord Vitthal was conducted by temple committee member H.B.P. Shivajirao More along with his wife. The daily worship of Goddess Rukmini was performed by temple committee manager Sandesh Bhosale with his wife. The entire temple premises were immersed in devotion due to the chanting of Vedic hymns, mantras, and traditional worship rituals. The atmosphere became even more spiritual with the chant of “Pundalik Varde Hari Vitthal.”
During this sacred ceremony, temple committee member Shakuntala Tai Nadgire, executive officer Rajendra Shelke, accountant Mukesh Anecha, and department head Sanjay Kokil were present. On behalf of the temple administration, excellent arrangements were made to ensure the smooth conduct of the worship rituals. Special emphasis was placed on cleanliness, discipline, and the convenience of devotees.
Jaya Ekadashi holds great religious significance, and it is believed by devotees that fasting, chanting, remembering the name of God, and charity on this day bring merit. Against this backdrop, devotees who came for darshan at the temple expressed satisfaction after seeing Vithoba-Rukmini Mata. Many devotees observed the Ekadashi fast and prayed at the feet of Lord Vithoba.
On behalf of the temple committee, proper arrangements were made for devotees to have darshan. Volunteers and staff were deployed to control the crowd. Devotees who came for darshan appreciated the management of the temple committee. Due to this regular worship, the devotion among the devotees has become stronger, and on the occasion of Jaya Ekadashi, a spiritual atmosphere was created in the temple premises. The temple committee has expressed its resolve to preserve such religious traditions in the future as well.
