Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray launched a scathing attack on the ruling Mahayuti alliance, comprising the BJP, Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena faction, and Ajit Pawar's NCP. Addressing the media after the opposition boycotted the government's traditional tea party, Thackeray accused the ruling coalition of corruption, disunity, and neglecting public issues.

Criticizing the lack of coordination in the current government, Thackeray remarked, “There are three people running this government, but all are heading in three different directions. Governance has become dysfunctional, and the issues of common people have been pushed aside.”

Taking a direct dig at the ruling alliance, Thackeray added, “Attending their tea party is like committing a sin. There is one party and two gangs of traitors in the BJP. They are all embroiled in internal disputes. This is not a government of unity but of convenience.”

He further accused the BJP of sheltering corrupt leaders. “The BJP has inducted several corrupt individuals into its fold. That’s why their new tagline should be 'Dag Achche Hai' (Stains are good). Bhashtranath Shinde (a taunt at CM Eknath Shinde) should dive into the washing machine first,” Thackeray quipped.

Raising serious allegations, Thackeray questioned the wealth of State Minister Sandipan Bhumre’s driver, hinting at possible corruption. “Where did Bhumre’s driver get such immense wealth? We will raise this issue in the Assembly. Our demand is that the Chief Minister must act against corrupt ministers in the Mahayuti.”

The sharp criticism highlights growing tensions between the opposition and the Mahayuti alliance ahead of the upcoming session in the Maharashtra Assembly.
