(sagali) A severe explosion of a refrigerator cylinder occurred in an electronic shop in Vita Nagar, Sangli. The explosion caused the entire building to burn down, resulting in the death of four members of a single family. The deceased include two men, one woman, and a young girl.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the fire department arrived at the scene. The fire broke out around eight-thirty in the morning due to a short circuit. In this fire, shop owner Vishnu Pandurang Joshi (47), his wife Sunanda Joshi (42), daughter Priyanka Ingle (25), and granddaughter Srishti Ingle (2) died.
Efforts were underway to rescue the families trapped on the second and third floors, but the closely packed houses were causing difficulties in the rescue operation. Various local fire engines arrived at the scene and were trying to extinguish the entire fire. This incident has turned into a tragedy for the entire family, and the city has expressed sorrow over the event.
