Reliance Relaunch : Reliance launches new brand; Noodles for just 5 rupees

Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL) has relaunched the 75-year-old food brand SIL in a new avatar. After Campa Cola, Ambani's company will now sell everything from noodles to ketchup, jam at affordable prices.

New Products and Prices

Reliance Industries announced on Tuesday that a new range of SIL noodles is coming to the market. These noodles will be available in four types:

Masala Noodles

Atta with Veggies Noodles

Korean K-Fire Noodles

Chow-Chow Noodles

The price will start at just 5 rupees. Also, SIL Tomato Ketchup will be made from real tomatoes without artificial ingredients. The price of this ketchup will start at 1 rupee.

Brand History

SIL started as James Smith & Company. Later, in 1993, Marico Industries acquired the brand. Subsequently, Marico sold the brand to Scandic Food India of the Danish company Good Food Group. In 2021, Foodservice India acquired the brand, and in January 2025, Reliance Consumer Products purchased the SIL brand from Foodservice India.

Recently, Reliance has rapidly expanded in the FMCG sector, including Campa Cola soft drinks, Rasquik beverages, Sosyo carbonated drinks, Lotus chocolates, and Ravalgaon & Toffyman confectionery.

Additionally, SIL Mixed Fruit Jam made from eight fruits is also being launched, with an initial price of 22 rupees.
