While international discussions are ongoing to stop the war between Russia and Ukraine, Russia has once again launched a large and fierce attack on Ukraine. It has been reported that at least 9 civilians have been injured in these attacks. The Ukrainian administration has stated that repair work in the affected areas is underway at a war footing in the war-like situation.
The most shocking aspect of this attack is the damage to the historic 'Motherland' monument related to World War II. This monument is considered a symbol of victory and sacrifice in World War II. Ukraine's cultural ministers have strongly condemned this incident, stating that this attack on historical and cultural heritage is deplorable. They noted that the damage to such monuments in the context of war is a serious matter.
