A six-month pregnant woman died in a horrific accident in the Jamner area of Jalgaon district. After the car hit the road divider hard, the vehicle caught fire, and the woman was trapped inside as the doors locked. This unfortunate incident has caused sorrow throughout the area.

Details of the incident:

According to the information received, the deceased woman's name was Janhavi More, and she was traveling with her husband Sangram More. While the police were conducting vehicle checks on the highway, driver Sangram panicked because he did not have a driving license. In an attempt to avoid the police, control of the car was lost, and the vehicle hit the divider.

After the collision, smoke started coming out of the car's engine. Police and citizens immediately rushed to the scene and broke the glass to rescue Sangram More, but they did not realize that another person was trapped inside. Within moments, the car caught fire and Janhavi More, who was trapped inside, died on the spot.

What to do if the car is locked?

In such situations, the people inside the vehicle should immediately try to break the glass and get out. If possible, break the front or rear glass with a sharp object or a jack, as it is easier to escape this way. It is also necessary to keep an emergency hammer in the vehicle so that lives can be saved in such accidents. This incident has caused intense anger among the locals, and there is a demand for awareness regarding vehicle safety and training.
