The wounds of excessive rainfall in Marathwada are still not healed, the land appears stripped instead of soil, and in such a situation, the concrete impact of the previously announced aid is nowhere to be seen. To understand the plight of these injured farmlands, Shiv Sena (Thackeray faction) leader Uddhav Thackeray visited Marathwada, where in Nanded, he directly attacked the government and the ruling parties in very harsh words.

Thackeray said, “Farmers need new soil to stand up again. The government promised to provide funds before Diwali, but what did the farmers actually receive? At least give one lakh from the aid announced through MNREGA, even that hasn't happened. This government is a sham.”

While urging farmers to unite, he said, “You sprout from the ground, you have strength. But until you come together, justice will not be achieved. I have come for you, not to ask for votes. I have come to support you in your struggle.” Criticizing the BJP leadership, Uddhav Thackeray said, “Here, farmers are wetting the soil with tears, and over there in Bihar, love stories are being told. They say the most love is in Bihar. Has Maharashtra been forgotten? Where is the Chief Minister? Not here to see the flood damage, but in Bihar!”

He also strongly criticized the legislators who win by taking votes from outside, “Those who win by deceiving people should be ashamed. Governments come and go, but we and you are here. It is our responsibility to stand by you.”

At this time, making the biggest claim, Thackeray said, “If the time comes, we will have to take over the government. Therefore, we must come together. Debt relief should be obtained, assistance of 50,000 per hectare should be received. If not, do not open the door. Keep them outside the door.” He further gave a message to the farmers to be ready, saying, “When I call, come to the streets. I will not stop until you get justice.”

Due to Uddhav Thackeray's Marathwada tour, farmer issues have come to the forefront again. All the problems like excessive rainfall, water supply, soil deficiency, and lack of financial support prominently emerged in his main speech. Becoming the voice of the farmers, Thackeray has now shown the direction for the movement. In the coming days, signs of this statement raising the political temperature are clear.
