Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University: Admission Process for 2025-26 Begins; Applications Open Until June 30

The admission process for the academic year 2025-26 at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) officially commenced on June 5. Applications are invited for various degree, diploma, and postgraduate programs across 45 departments of the university. Interested candidates can register online through the e-Samarth portal until June 30, 2025.

Admission Without CET, Based on Merit

Continuing its previous policy, the university will conduct admissions based purely on merit, with no Common Entrance Test (CET). Admission will be granted based on students' academic performance in qualifying examinations. The schedule and guidelines for the admission process have been finalized under the supervision of Vice-Chancellor Dr. Vijay Phulari and Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr. Valmik Sarvade.

For registration, students must visit the official website of BAMU. The application fee is set at ₹200 for open category candidates and ₹100 for reserved category students.

  • Registration Period: June 5 to June 30, 2025

  • Submission of Registration Info to Departments: July 1, 2025

  • Document Submission: By July 5, 2025

  • Document Verification: July 14, 2025

  • Preliminary Merit List: July 17, 2025

  • Objection Window: July 17 to 19, 2025

  • Revised Merit List: July 21, 2025

  • Selection List: July 22, 2025

  • Admission Confirmation: July 23 to 25, 2025

2,225+ Seats Available for Postgraduate Courses

A total of 2,228 seats are available for 54 postgraduate courses across 43 departments (out of 51). In addition, some new courses have been introduced this year, bringing the total number of programs (degree, diploma, and certificate) to 60, according to Deputy Vice-Chancellor Madhav Vagatkar.
