According to the new National Education Policy, the terms foundation level, preparatory level, pre-secondary level and secondary will be used instead of primary, secondary and higher secondary levels. Opinions are also being reflected on this.

Why is Hindi language compulsory? - Sandeep Deshpande

Speaking on this background, MNS leader Sandeep Deshpande said that I think that local language is very important. Also, if we look at Hindi in our constitution, then the recognition center has given it to so many languages. One of them is Hindi. Then why are you making Hindi language compulsory? Give people a choice, let them learn the language they want to learn. I don't know what their intention is behind making Hindi language compulsory.
