A shocking incident unfolded at Mumbai's Bangur Nagar Metro station when a 2-year-old boy unexpectedly exited a metro coach alone. The episode, captured on CCTV footage, occurred on Yellow Line - 2, leaving commuters and staff momentarily stunned.

According to reports, the boy suddenly stepped out of the metro at the Bangur Nagar station in Goregaon. Moments later, the metro doors closed automatically, leaving the child stranded on the platform while the train was about to depart.

Fortunately, a vigilant metro employee noticed the situation just in time. Acting swiftly, the staff member signaled the metro driver to halt and reopen the doors. Thanks to the prompt response, the boy was safely brought back into the train, averting what could have been a major tragedy.

The incident has raised serious concerns about child safety in public transport systems and the need for enhanced vigilance during boarding and deboarding. Authorities have not released further details but are expected to review safety protocols in light of the event.
