Odisha Train Accident: A major train accident was averted near Jajpur station in Odisha's Jajpur district. The superfast express traveling from Chennai to New Jalpaiguri derailed on Thursday morning. In this incident, three coaches of the train derailed, creating an atmosphere of fear among passengers for some time.

This incident occurred around a quarter to nine in the morning while the train was heading towards Kolkata via Bhubaneswar. Fortunately, no one was injured in this accident. The railway administration has informed that all passengers are safe.

As soon as the incident was understood, rescue and repair teams immediately arrived at the scene. Work is underway to bring the coaches back on track, and efforts are being made to resume the affected railway route as soon as possible. Senior officials have also reached the site and are monitoring the situation.

The exact cause of the accident is not yet clear. The railway department has stated that a detailed inquiry will be conducted after the repairs are completed. Until then, all necessary precautions are being taken for safety.
