After a few days of respite, the rain has made a strong comeback in the state, with heavy rain starting in many parts of the state over the past two days. Now, a new forecast from the IMD has emerged. Winter has started in many places, but monsoon winds are still blowing in Maharashtra.
Along with that, winter has started in North India, and due to the western disturbance, there has been snowfall in the mountains. Snowfall will occur in the upper regions of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. As a result, the weather has deteriorated in 10 states. Due to snowfall in the hilly states, there is a possibility of a rapid drop in temperature in the plains, and pollution is hitting harder in Delhi these days.
According to the information provided by the Meteorological Department, a warning of light rain has been issued for Haryana and Punjab, and heavy rain warnings have been issued for the northeast including Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. Additionally, there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunderstorms in some parts of Gujarat, Marathwada, and Maharashtra. The rain is expected to reduce pollution levels in Delhi.
