Indian cricket team player Yuzvendra Chahal is currently in the news for his divorce. He tied the knot with social media influencer Dhanshree Verma. However, due to differences between the two, they decided to part ways. Dhanshree and Yuzvendra had filed a divorce petition in the family sessions court. Their divorce was confirmed on March 20.
After the divorce, Yuzvendra has also agreed to pay alimony of Rs 4.75 crore. Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh's father Yograj Singh has commented on this. Yograj Singh said, "If Chahal had invested Rs 4.75 crore while getting married, he would have invested more than Rs 8 crore today. I would advise you all to stay single and do something". Yograj's statement has now made headlines.
According to the Bar and Bench report, Yuzvendra Chahal has agreed to pay Rs 4.75 crore as alimony to Dhanshree Verma. Yuzvendra Chahal is said to have paid Rs 2.37 crore to Dhanshree before the divorce. After the divorce, Rs 2.38 crore was paid.
