(Devendra Fadnavis) A solution is finally emerging for the long-pending issue of 14 villages in the Maharashtra and Telangana border area. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has clearly ordered that these villages be directly included in Maharashtra. This decision is likely to address the issues of locals in Rajura and Jiwati talukas of Chandrapur district.

This decision was made in a high-level meeting held in the office of Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule at the Vidhan Bhavan. During this time, the development of border areas, local demands, and administrative challenges were reviewed. Subsequently, the Revenue Minister instructed the concerned officials to immediately initiate the necessary process to include these 14 villages in Chandrapur district.

These villages are currently near the Telangana border, and citizens have been demanding inclusion in Maharashtra for many years. Due to this decision by the government, there is a possibility of significant change in terms of local development, and the path for administrative coherence and availability of facilities will be opened.
