Information has been received that a 15-coach train will run between CSMT-Khopoli. Railway Board Chairman and CEO Satish Kumar had instructed officials to ensure safe and convenient travel by increasing the service of 15 coaches.
Information has been received that by the end of August, the length of platforms at 26 stations on the slow and fast routes between CSMT and Kalyan, and at 24 stations on the Kalyan to Kasara and Khopoli routes will be increased. As a result, the passenger transport capacity of the local trains will increase by 25 percent. By the end of August, the platform length will be increased at 34 stations.
