(Kamothe Cash Seized) Information has been received that seventeen lakh cash has been seized at Kamothe check post. This action was taken under the guidance of Panvel Municipal Corporation election officer Mangesh Chitale.
While regularly inspecting vehicles at Kamothe Check Naka near Panvel, a white Grand Vitara car traveling on the Sion Panvel Highway was checked. It is reported that cash was found in a cloth bag.
This complaint was filed by election decision officer Avishkumar Sonone for wards 11, 12, 13. Since the amount was suspicious, it was seized by the team, and it is observed that the administration has become more vigilant after the code of conduct was implemented.
