The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has announced a 24-hour water supply shutdown across several parts of the city due to essential pipeline repair work. The shutdown will affect water supplied from the Bhokarpada Water Purification Center.

The water cut will begin at 12 noon on May 14 and continue until 12 noon on May 15. During this period, there will be no water supply in the following areas: Belapur, Nerul, Vashi, Turbhe, Sanpada, Koparkhairane, Ghansoli, and Airoli.

Additionally, parts of the CIDCO-administered nodes, including Kharghar and Kamothe, will also experience a complete shutdown in water supply.

Water will be available on the morning of May 14, but supply will be suspended by noon and will resume after noon on May 15. There is also a possibility of low water pressure in some areas on the evening of May 15.

The NMMC has urged residents to store water in advance and use it judiciously during the shutdown period.
