Four people died in a fierce fire that broke out at Nevasa Phata in Ahilyanagar district on Monday midnight. A sudden fire erupted in the Kalika Furniture shop of local trader Mayur Rasne. Unfortunately, his family living on the upper floor of the shop did not get a chance to escape.

In this accident, Mayur Arun Rasane (45), his wife Payal (38), son Ansh (10), and younger son Chaitanya (7) died on the spot. The sudden flames and thick smoke made the rescue operation difficult. The local residents immediately started helping, but the fire spread so rapidly that it was not possible to save the family.

Meanwhile, Yash Kiran Rasne (25) and an elderly woman (70) have been seriously injured and admitted to the hospital for treatment. The police and fire brigade rushed to the scene and brought the situation under control. Although the exact cause of the fire is not yet clear, initial investigations suggest the possibility of an electrical short circuit. The police have conducted a spot inspection and started further investigation. This incident has caused grief in the Nevasa area, and mourning has spread throughout the village.
