(Pune Leopard) In the state, leopards are increasingly seen in human settlements. There has also been an increase in leopard attacks. Against this backdrop, cameras have been installed to track leopards.
It is now reported that five more cameras have been added to search for the leopard in the Pune airport area. Surveillance will now be conducted with eight cameras, and airport staff have once again reported seeing the leopard.
Additionally, nets have been installed at the underground passages. If the leopard is seen in the trap cameras, traps and cages have been placed at three locations to capture it. This entire operation was carried out in the presence of officials from the Pune Forest Department, staff, members of the rescue organization, and Air Force officers.
