Another rape case has been filed against Praful Lodha, who was arrested in the honey trap case, in Pune. This new complaint filed at Bavdhan police station has added new allegations to the already sensational case. Praful Lodha was previously accused of sexual abuse, threats, and honey trap tactics involving minor girls at Andheri MIDC and Sakinaka police stations in Mumbai. In the related cases, he has been charged with offenses such as rape, fraud, extortion under the POCSO Act. Sakinaka police arrested him on July 5, and he is currently in the custody of Mumbai police.

Meanwhile, a new crime has been registered in the jurisdiction of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissionerate. According to a complaint filed by a 36-year-old married woman residing in Kothrud at the Bavdhan police station, Lodha lured her husband with the promise of a job and called him to a hotel in Balewadi on the night of May 27. There, he threatened her with demands for physical relations. When she resisted, he threatened to jeopardize her job and allegedly raped her forcibly, according to the woman's accusation.

In this case, a crime was registered at the Bavdhan police station on July 17, and action has been taken against Lodha under the sections of rape and threats.
